Terms of use & travel disclosures

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This is an original, plain-language starter page for the current Hidden Weekends Texas website. It is not legal advice or a final legal agreement. The owner should have an attorney review it before broad public launch.

Who we are

“Hidden Weekends Texas,” “we,” and “our” refer to Hidden Weekends Texas LLC and its website and service. Our mailing address is 1036 Sunset Canyon Drive, Dripping Springs, TX 78620. Questions can be sent to dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com or through the Support form.

What Hidden Weekends does

Hidden Weekends Texas helps people discover and organize Texas weekend plans. We show curated ideas, booking links, schedules, backup options, route information, and a concierge that helps with planning questions. We are not a hotel, rental host, restaurant, attraction, tour operator, transportation company, insurer, emergency service, or travel agency unless a page clearly says otherwise.

Accepting these terms

By using the site, you agree to these terms and the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site. You are responsible for making sure your use is lawful where you live and for keeping any private trip link or notification information secure.

Planning information is not a promise

Recommendations, timing, distances, budgets, weather notes, routes, and “Greenlight” status are planning guidance. They are not a reservation, quote, confirmation, safety guarantee, medical advice, legal advice, or promise that an activity will be available. Check important details directly with the provider before leaving home.

Bookings with third parties

When you select a hotel, rental, dinner, experience, ticket, transportation, or other booking option, you may leave our site and use an independent provider’s website or platform. That provider controls availability, final price, taxes, fees, payment, confirmation, cancellation, refunds, no-shows, changes, and customer support. Read the provider’s terms before you confirm anything.

Prices and availability can change

Prices, room types, inventory, operating hours, event schedules, travel times, and provider policies can change without notice. Hidden Weekends Texas does not promise the lowest price or that every suggested option will still be available when you click through. A link or recommendation is not a guarantee that the provider has accepted a booking.

Affiliate links and sponsored relationships

Some booking links may be tracked affiliate links. We may receive a commission if you book through one, at no extra cost to you. We may also receive another benefit from a provider when a relationship is identified on the page. These relationships do not guarantee a recommendation, change the provider’s terms, or change the price you pay. The Affiliate disclosure explains the program in more detail.

Getaway Greenlight and concierge help

Greenlight and the concierge organize information and suggest next steps. They can miss changes, misunderstand a question, or rely on information that has become outdated. They do not make reservations, accept payments, change provider bookings, or replace professional, emergency, or legal advice. If a reservation changes, ask the concierge for alternatives and confirm the replacement directly with the provider.

Weather, roads, and personal safety

Weather, flooding, heat, wind, road conditions, closures, water conditions, burn restrictions, traffic, crowds, health concerns, alcohol rules, and local requirements can change quickly. Follow official instructions and provider rules, choose activities appropriate for your group, use safe transportation, and contact local emergency services when needed. Never drive or operate equipment while impaired.

Accessibility

We want the website and its trip information to be usable by as many people as possible. We work toward readable headings, clear labels, keyboard-friendly controls, useful text alternatives, and sufficient contrast. If a page, form, or booking step is difficult to use, email dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com with the page address and a description of the barrier. We will work with you on a practical way to access the information. This statement is not a certification that every page currently meets a particular technical standard.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate planning information, keep private trip links private, review final booking terms, arrive on time, follow provider rules, and make sure everyone in your group understands the plan. Do not use the site to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at scale, upload malicious material, impersonate another person, or claim to represent Hidden Weekends Texas without permission.

Feedback and information you send us

Only send information you have the right to share. You allow us to use feedback, questions, and suggestions to respond to you, operate the service, and improve the site. Do not send confidential business information, payment details, passwords, government IDs, or sensitive personal information through the site.

Content and service changes

Hidden Weekends Texas’s original text, design, and planning content belong to the site owner or its licensors. Third-party names, logos, photos, and marks belong to their owners. We may correct, change, pause, or remove content and features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent allowed by law, the site and its planning information are provided as available, without a promise that they will be complete, current, secure, or error-free. Hidden Weekends Texas is not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, content, booking, price, cancellation, injury, delay, closure, or changed conditions. Nothing on this page removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be removed. The owner’s attorney should tailor any limitation-of-liability, warranty, indemnity, or consumer-rights language to the actual business and applicable law.

Governing law and dispute process

These Terms and your use of the Hidden Weekends Texas website are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you have a concern, please contact us first at dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com so we have an opportunity to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the issue, any legal proceeding related to these Terms or the website must be brought in a state or federal court located in the county where Hidden Weekends Texas LLC’s principal office is located, unless applicable law requires a different location.

You and Hidden Weekends Texas LLC agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

Questions and updates

For questions, accessibility requests, privacy requests, or booking-support questions, use the Support form or email dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com. We may update these terms when the service, providers, laws, or support process changes. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised.

Owner/attorney checklist before launch: confirm the operator identity, mailing address, governing-law and dispute language, and any required cancellation, refund, accessibility, privacy, consumer-protection, and affiliate disclosures; then have counsel review the final language.
