Privacy notice

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Hidden Weekends Texas LLC operates this website and service. Our mailing address is 1036 Sunset Canyon Drive, Dripping Springs, TX 78620.

This is a plain-language starter notice for the current Hidden Weekends Texas website. It is not legal advice or a final legal agreement. The owner should have an attorney review it before broad public launch.

What we collect

When you plan a weekend, we use the details needed to make the trip work: your selected destination, dates, group details, stay, budget range, preferences, chosen experiences, backup choices, and trip status. The app also uses an essential browser session cookie so it can keep your trip together while you move through the site.

Some planning settings and notification choices are saved in your browser. If you contact us, we may receive the message and the email or phone number you choose to include. Please do not enter payment-card numbers, passwords, government IDs, medical information, or other sensitive information in the app or support form.

How we use information

We use information to build and save your weekend, show the right booking and backup steps, send alerts when you ask for them, answer support requests, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and improve the site. We do not intentionally sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising in the current app.

Cookies and analytics

The essential session cookie helps the site function. Optional analytics help us understand which pages and features are useful. If you allow optional analytics, the site may use Google Analytics and limited first-party events. We do not intentionally send your name, contact details, payment information, or private trip notes to analytics tools. You can choose essential-only tracking and change your choice below.

Bookings and outside providers

Booking buttons may take you to a hotel, rental, restaurant, attraction, transportation, or other provider. That provider controls the final price, availability, payment, confirmation, cancellation policy, cookies, and privacy practices. The current app does not receive or store your payment-card details.

Affiliate links

Some links may be tracked affiliate links. If you book through one, Hidden Weekends Texas may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The provider still controls the booking, and affiliate status does not change our goal of showing useful options.

How long we keep information

Optional analytics events are kept for up to 13 months. Support requests are kept for up to 24 months. Trip, alert, and operational records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service, monitor an activated weekend, resolve a request, meet legal obligations, or protect the site, and are reviewed as part of the same cleanup process.

How we protect it

We use HTTPS, access controls, and an HTTP-only session cookie. No website can promise perfect security, so please avoid sending sensitive information and let us know if you think an account or trip link has been shared with the wrong person.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional analytics, leave optional contact fields blank, and use the Support form to ask for access, correction, deletion, or an explanation of how your information is used. You may also email dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com. Include enough information for us to find the request, but never send a password, payment details, or government ID. We may ask for reasonable verification before changing or deleting information.

Children

The website is intended for adults planning travel and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when the site, analytics, booking partners, or support process changes. For questions or privacy requests, use the Support form or email dave@hiddenweekendstexas.com.

Before launch: Hidden Weekends Texas LLC should confirm the privacy-rights process and response timelines and confirm any required state-specific disclosures. An attorney should review this page before it is relied on as the final privacy policy.
